Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly played Oneonta tough in the first two sets, but the Yellowjackets prevailed in a sweep here Thursday night in STAC volleyball action.
Oneonta won by scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-13.
Meeya Wheeler led Waverly with 13 setter assists and nine digs, while Leraya Teeter had 16 digs, four kills, and two aces, Addison Foster registered six kills, and Elli Cole added 12 digs
Waverly, now 2-2, returns to action Saturday at the Corning Tournament.
