Valley Sports ReportWYSOX — Freshman Kamdyn Schrader led Sayre's efforts in a three-team NTL boys golf match here Monday afternoon at the Towanda Country Club.
Schrader fired a career-best 44, and senior Rommel Suba shot a career-best 49 as the Redskins carded a four-player aggregate score of 198, while Wellsboro earned a pair of wins with a 171, and Wyalusing shot a 178.
Senior Shaine Strickland shot a 50 for Sayre and Blake Zingeser added a 55.
Senior Blake Zingeser and junior James Leonard tacked on non-scoring rounds of 55 and 66 for the Redskins.
GIRLS
Paige Secrist was Sayre lone golfer and a shot a 60, which was lower than any of Wyalusing's four golfers.
Sayre returns to action Thursday against Athens, Wyalusing, and Towanda at The Club at Shepard Hills.
