STAC GIRLS SWIMMING: STECK, ATANASOFF LEAD WAVERLY TO 106-64 WIN OVER WINDSOR (2026-09-15)

WAVERLY — Sophomores Natalie Steck and Meg Atanasoff were triple-winners to lead Waverly to a 106-64 win over Windsor here Tuesday afternoon in STAC girls swimming action.

Sophomores Audrey Kellogg, Ayla Wheeler and Brynna Twedt, and 7th-grader Arielle Allison were double-winners for the Wolverines, who improve to 2-0.

Steck won the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:33.24, and Wheeler was second in 2:54.55.

Steck led a sweep in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:06.64, while Brynna Twedt was second in 1:08.05, and 7th-grader Kenna Twedt was third in 1:21.62.

Atanasoff won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:03.1.

Steck and Atanasoff teamed with Brynna Twedt and Wheeler to win the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 2:02.4, and the foursome of 7th-graders Kenna Twedt, Liv McGee, Arielle Allison, and Jolie Fravel were second in 2:22.98.

Atanasoff, Kellogg, Allison, and Brynna Twedt teamed to win the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 4:09.51.

Kellogg won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:17.42, and Harper Varano was second in 2:39.14.

Wheeler led a sweep in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching first in 1:32.75, while Fravel was second in 1:34.54, and McGee was third in 1:34.63.

Allison won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:04.16, and Varano was third in 1:14.18.

Kenna Twedt was second in the 50-yard freestyle in 31.29 seconds, and Fravel was third in 31.36 seconds.

Izzy Miner finished second in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 6:59.98, and Madalyn Draper was third in 8:39.35.

Waverly returns to action Tuesday at Owego Free Academy.
