Valley Sports ReportTRUMANSBURG — Tioga dropped a tightly-contested 3-0 decision to perennial IAC North Large School contender Trumansburg here Tuesday night in IAC crossover volleyball action.
The Blue Raiders won by scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-21.
Jade Keaty led Tioga with eight service points and 23 digs, while Courtney Smith had four points, five kills, and seven digs, and Irie Lynch had three points, 20 setter assists, one block, and three digs.
Brianna Lounsbury had three points, five kills, and seven digs in the win, while Vida Rossi had four kills, three blocks, and two digs, and Vanessa Tunnicliff had three kills, one block, and five digs.
Kate Kithcart had two kills, one block, and four digs for the Tigers, while Kaylynne Miller added four points and one block, and Sadie Marshall chipped in with four digs.
Tioga, now 2-1, returns to action Thursday when it hosts Thomas A. Edison.

Mya Freese led Tioga with six points (two aces) and three digs, while Maddy Rogers had five points (two aces) and five digs, Alexis Perry had four points and two assists, and Kendra Hale had three points (three aces).
Lainey Platukis had four digs and two assists, while Sophia Bozzo added three kills, and Lizzy Sick chipped in with two kills.
