Valley Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson continues its strong play, and remains unbeaten in divisional play with a sweep of Sayre here Thursday night in NTL Small School volleyball play.
The Warriors won by scores of 25-13, 25-18, and 25-20.
Junior Reghan McGaughey led Sayre with eight digs, nine kills, and two service aces, while senior Alex Schack had five digs and seven kills, and junior Yhale Doon had 21 setter assists, three aces, and two digs.
Junior Grace Rossi recorded six digs for the Redskins, while senior Azalea McClenny registered three kills and one block, freshman Mylee Medina had three digs, junior Emily Strickland added two digs, and freshman Ember Jones chipped in with one block.
Sayre, now 2-4, returns to action Saturday afternoon when it hosts Galeton.
