Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Athens remained unbeaten with its win over Wyalusing, but settled for a tie with Towanda for the second time this season here Thursday afternoon in NTL girls golf action at The Club at Shepard Hills.
Freshman Lilah Carlson earned low-medal honors with a 45, and sophomore Brooke Lyon shot a 48 to lead Athens to a three-player aggregate score of 147.
Annie Davis shot a 54 for Wildcats.
Olivia Heath and Payton Perry each shot rounds off 47 to lead the Black Knights to a 147 team score, and Rosie Glantz added a 53.
Riley O'Connor shot a 64 to lead Wyalusing to a 214 team score.
Athens, now 12-0-2, returns to action Wednesday at Corey Creek Golf Course in Mansfield.
