Valley Sports ReportGREENE, N.Y. — Waverly had four golfers shoot 45 or better, but all five Chenango Forks golfers did the same in a 207-219 win here Tuesday afternoon in STAC Central Division boys golf action.
Junior Griff Walter and 8th-grader Silas Bennett each shot rounds of 41 on the par-35 front nine at the Genegantslet Golf Course to pace the Wolverines.
Senior Daniel Fischer shot a 44 for Waverly, while junior Daniel Brady added a 45, and sophomore Trevor Allen tacked on a 48.
Logan Robinson had a non-scoring round of 51.
Jackson Miner shot a low-medal round of 36 to pace the Blue Devils.
Waverly, now 3-4, returns to action Thursday when it hosts Owego Free Academy at The Club at Shepard Hills.
