Week 9 was another good one for the VSR Pigskin Pickers with Little Red, The Mick, and I posting 9-1 records, and Country Bob and Madden & Summerall both at 8-2.
On the season, Little Red leads the pack at 81-13, The Mick is 80-14, I am 79-15, Country Bob is 78-16, and Madden Summerall is 71-23.

Trumansburg (3-5) at Tioga (6-2): The Tigers are coming off its sixth straight win, a 42-0 whitewashing of SVEC, while the Blue Raiders dropped a 54-28 decision at Groton.
Trumansburg led Tioga 21-3 late in the second quarter of their meeting in Week 3, but Tioga rallied for a 34-21 victory.
Prediction: The Tigers seemed to figure something out during their win over Trumansburg in Week 4 because they've been very good since. I don't think this game is as close as their first meeting. ... TIOGA 41, T-BURG 14.

Prediction: There's no doubt the Redskins are much-improved over last year, but the Wildcats, despite last week's offensive struggles, are an explosive bunch. ... ATHENS 51, SAYRE 8.

After a 1-2 start, Waverly has 40 points per game in its five wins, while Oneonta has allowed 52 points per game in its three-game losing skein prior to the forfeit win.
