THE VALLEY — “All-Valley” week begins today and stretches through Sunday, honoring the top athletes, newcomers, and coaches, as well as “Crystal Ball” prognostications for the 2019-20 winter seasons.

The week wraps up Sunday with “Super 7 Male and Female Athletes of the Winter,” and  “The Final Word” on the 2018-19 winter season.

The 2018-19 wrestling season was another one for the ages in the Valley.

In all six Valley wrestlers — four Tioga and two Athens — qualified for their respective state tournaments, and all six brought home medals. Six-for-six, now that’s impressive.
