VALLEY SPORTS REPORT: IT'S ALL-VALLEY WEEK (2019-03-24)

THE VALLEY - "All-Valley" week begins today and stretches through Sunday, honoring the top athletes, newcomers, and coaches, as well as "Crystal Ball" prognostications for the 2019-20 winter seasons.

The week wraps up Sunday with "Super 7 Male and Female Athletes of the Winter," and  "The Final Word" on the 2018-19 winter season.

The schedule is as follows:

WEDNESDAY
All-Valley Girls Basketball;
Crystal Ball look ahead to 2018-19 girls hoop season;
All-Valley Boys Swimming & Diving.

THURSDAY

Crystal Ball look ahead to 2018-19 boys hoop season.

FRIDAY
All-Valley Wrestling Super 7;
Crystal Ball look ahead to 2018-19 wrestling season;

SATURDAY
Super 7 Female Newcomers of the Winter;
Super 7 Male Newcomers of the Winter;
Super 7 Storylines of the Winter;
Super 7 Coaches of the Winter.

SUNDAY
Super 7 Female Athletes of the Winter;
Super 7 Male Athletes of the Winter;
"The Final Word" on Winter 2017-18.

What a winter season.

The Valley sent 13 athletes to their respective state championships, and nine brought home state medals. On the team front, there were three Section IV champs, four division champs, two overall league champions, and one state qualifier. ...more
