ATHENS — Vulcraft scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to pull out a 9-6 win over Bishop’s Hardware in Athens Little League Minors Division baseball action Tuesday night.

In the home half of the fourth, AdamHall worked a walk, Ethan Talada stroked a one-out single, and Eli Hicks loaded the bases with a two-out single.

Riley Harrigan, Ethan Hicks, and Bradon Cardenas then worked consecutive walks to force home runs.

Eli Hicks had three hits, including a triple, and scored three runs to pace Vulcraft at the plate, while Cardenas singled, scored a run, and had two RBI, and Ethan Hicks singled, scored a run, and drove in a run.

Evan Cooper singled and knocked in a run in the win, while Talada singled and scored a run, Harrigan scored a run and drove in a run, and Brady Darrow, and Adam Hall each scored a run.

Cooper, Eli Hicks and Ethan Hicks shared the pitching duties and combined to strikeout five.

Parker Wanck singled twice, scored a run, and had two RBI, and Duncan Thetga doubled and singled, scored two runs, and drove in a run to lead Bishop’s Hardware at the plate, while Graham Wanck singled twice and scored a run.

Shawn Irons doubled and scored a run for Bishop’s, while Jackson Clark singled and drove in a run, and Davin Goudreau scored a run.

Thetga, Peter Wanck, and Irons shared the pitching duties, and combined to fan 10.
