WAVERLY — Tioga returned home Tuesday afternoon and bowled the high series of the young season in the IAC in a sweep of Odessa-Montour in boys action at the Valley Bowling Center.

After throwing a 2,406 at Rossi Lanes in Elmira, and a 2,727 at the Owego Bowl in their first two matches last week, the Tigers blasted out a 3,271 to top the 3,204 Waverly rolled at VBC last Tuesday.

Tioga won the first game 1,092-642, then won by scores of 1,107-662, and 1,072-621 for a total-pinfall victory of 3,271 to 1,925.

Senior Jake Robertson Robertson led the Tigers with a 666 series on games of 209, 211, and 246, while junior Jason Sherman shot a 651 on games of 213, 235, and 203, and junior Eric Sherman rolled a 638 on games of 203, 224, and 211.

Nate Merrill rolled a 595 in the sweep, including games of 223 and 233, while freshman Kolton Pond shot a 593 series, including games of 222 and 214, and Trenton Perrotta added a 578 series, which including a 245.

Eighth-grader Dylan Slater added a 529 in reserve for the Tigers.

Eric Rumsey led O-M with a 512 series.

Tioga, now 12-0, returns to action Thursday at Groton.
