SAYRE ó Jayís Capet jumped out to a 9-1 lead and cruised to a 17-7 four-inning win over Alligerís House of Wings here Thursday night in Athens / Sayre Little League Minors Division baseball action.

Jayís Carpet scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-1 lead, then plated five runs in the second inning. After Alligerís scored five runs in the top of the third to close the gap to 9-6, Jayís Carpet answered with four runs in the home half of the inning.

Lucas Schultz singled twice, scored two runs, and had three RBI, while Wilson Kinsman had two hits, three runs scored, and an RBI, and Duncan Thetga singled twice, scored one run, and drove in two runs to pace Jayís Carpetís 12-hit attack.

Seth Krissler singled, scored three runs, and drove in a run for Jayís Carpet, while Brodie Walker singled, scored one run, and knocked in two runs, Zachary Fisher doubled, scored one run, and drove in one run, Adam Kemp singled, scored one run, and drove in a run, Austyn Stedge singled and had two RBI, Zachary Blackman singled and scored a run, Matthew Rossettie Cabrera scored two runs, and drove in a run, and James Friend, and Hayden Bartlow each scored one run, and drove in one run.

Logan Schultz started on the mound for Jayís Carpet, allowing one run on one hit, while striking out four and walking four in two innings. Thetga pitched the final inning, allowing an unearned run, while striking out three, and walking one.

Brendan Cook singled and scored two runs account for Alligerís only hit of the game, while Cam Ross crossed the plate twice, and Nolan Raupers, and Blake Zingeser each scored a run, and drove in a run.
