SAYRE — David Northrop and Kannon VanDuzer combined on a no-hitter, and Lucas Horton and Dom Fabbri combined for eight RBI to lead Sayre to a 14-0 win over Tioga-Lawrenceville here Friday evening in pool play of the District 15 Little League baseball playoffs.

Northrup fanned eight and walked three in 3 2/3 innings to earn the win. VanDuzer walked one in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

Sayre took a quick 3-0 lead with three runs in the top of the first inning. Northrup drove in the first inning with an RBI double to plate Lucas Horton, who walked to lead off the inning.

Brayden Horton followed with an RBI triple to make it 2-0, and scored on a wild pitch for the final run of the inning.

Lucas Horton laced an RBI single in the second inning to make it 4-0, and later scored on a wild pitch.

Leading 6-0 after 4 1/2, Sayre put the game away with eight runs in the top of the fifth inning in a rally that featured a pair of two-run singles by Dom Fabbri, and a three-run triple by Lucas Horton.

Lucas Horton tripled and singled, scored three runs and had four RBI, and Northrop doubled and singled, scored two runs, and two RBI to pace Sayre at the plate, while Brayden Horton tripled and singled, scored two runs, and drove in a run, and Fabbri singled twice, scored one run and had four RBI

Mason Houseknecht doubled and scored a run in the win, while Zack Garrity singled and scored two runs, Kegan Hayford singled and scored a run, Jackson Hubbard scored two runs, and VanDuzer drove in a run

Sayre, now 2-0 in pool play, returns to action Tuesday at Southern Tioga.
