OWEGO The Nichols-Tioga Little League 12U All-Stars surrendered a two-run single in the top of the sixth inning that lifted Union-Endicott (Fellows) to a 6-5 win in the loser's bracket final of the Owego Little League 10U / 12U Tournament Sunday.

Trailing 3-2, NTLL plated three runs in the bottom of the fourth to grab a 5-3 advantage. U-E would respond with a run in the fifth. Both teams scored twice in the first and U-E added a run in the third.

Ben Davis and Karson Sindoni led NTLL at the plate going 2-for-2 and 2-for-3, respectively. They also scored two runs apiece, and Sindoni had a double and an RBI. Drew Macumber went 1-for-2 with a run and Zach Kotsubka was 1-for-3.

Sindoni went 5 1/3 innings on the mound, giving up five runs, only one of which was earned He struck out nine nd walked four. Shea Bailey allowed one hit and one run in two-thirds of an inning.

NTLL finished the tournament with a 4-2 record, going 3-0 in pool play.
