THE VALLEY - The Sayre boys play their final home game, and the Tioga girls close out the regular season in need of a win to advance to the postseason.

BOYS BASKETBALL
NEB (12-8 overall, 9-5) at Sayre (5-14, 5-9), 6 p.m. JV start:
The Redskins are coming off a 63-26 loss to Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon, while the Panthers won at Williamson, 66-52.

NEB currently has a slim lead on Bloomsburg for the second spot in the Class AA postseason power rankings.

Athens (12-7) at Danville (19-2), 6 p.m. JV start: The Wildcats are coming off an 80-67 loss at North Penn-Mansfield Saturday night, while the Ironmen

Danville has already locked up the top seed in the upcoming District 4, Class AAAA playoffs, while Athens is currently the fifth seed, but only by 0.005 points over sixth seed Lewisburg in the postseason power points rankings.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Athens (12-8) at Windsor, 5:30 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 52-24 win over Troy Friday night, and make the hour road trip tonight for a non-league tilt at Windsor.

Athens needs a win at home against Troy Tuesday, and a Towanda loss to Wellsboro to finish second in the Large School Division, which would earn them a Showdown semi-final match-up against Small School champ Sayre.

O-M at Tioga (7-12), 6 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Tigers are coming off a 54-33 win over Towanda Saturday afternoon, while the Lady Indians rolled to a 54-32 win over Thomas A. Edison.

Tioga needs a win in the regular-season finale to qualify for the upcoming Section IV, Class C playoffs.
