(UPDATED) SECTION IV GIRLS BASKETBALL: WAVERLY OPENS CLASS B PLAYOFFS AT HOME (2019-02-14)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY - Waverly, ranked 24th in the state, is the third seed, and will open the Section IV, Class B playoffs with a home game against Susquehanna Valley, which is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
Unbeaten Owego (18-0), ranked fourth in the state, is the top seed and will host the winner of the Waverly-Sus. Valley match-up on Feb. 26.
Norwich (18-1), ranked fifth in state, also receives a bye into the semifinals, and will host the winner of the quarter-final match-up between third-seed Oneonta (13-6) and sixth-seed Whitney Point (11-8) on Feb. 26.
