WILLIAMSPORT "” Junior Damian Hudson and sophomore Benny Gambrell are each seeded in the top four in three different events here Thursday and Saturday at the District 4, Class AA Track & Field Championships.

Hudson holds the Wildcats' lone top seed in the 200-meter dash, and is the fourth seed, while Gambrell is the second seed in the long jump and triple jump. Both are part of the 400-meter relay that is seeded third.

Sayre has just three athletes competing in four events - all field events. Their top seed is Zach Belles in the shot put.

The top two in each event, plus any athlete who hits a state standard time, distance or height, and finishes in the top eight.

The following are the top seeds, as well as the Athens and Sayre athletes in each event, as well as the state standard, which is in parenthesis.

100-meter dash (11.3 seconds)
Montoursville junior Jacob Reeder is the top seed at 11.04 seconds, and Athens junior Damian Hudson is the fourth seed at 11.1 seconds.

200-meter dash (22.88 seconds)
Hudson is he top seed at 22.7 seconds, and Benny Gambrell is the third seed at 23.14 seconds.

400-meter dash (50.7 seconds)
Central Columbia junior Zander Bradley is the top seed at 49.92 seconds, and Athens senior Brayden Murrelle is the 22nd seed at 54.3 seconds.

800-meter run (1:59.7)
Wyalusing junior Alex Patton is the top seed at 1:59.0, and Athens junior T.J. Toscano was 18th at 2:06.1.

1,600-meter run (4:31.13)
Southern Columbia senior Ethan Knoebel is the top seed at 4:24.18.

3,200-meter run (9:48.01)
Mount Carmel junior Kristof Lapotsky is the top seed at 9:22.77, and Toscano is the 19th seed at 10:39.1.

110-meter hurdles (15.5 seconds)
Lewisburg junior Kameron Schreffler is the top seed at 14.84 seconds.

300-meter hurdles (40.8 seconds)
Lewisburg junior Zach Befell is the top seed at 39.53 seconds, and Athens junior Ben Biles is the 23rd seed at 46.3 seconds.

400-meter relay (44.3 seconds)
Southern Columbia is the top seed at 43.68 seconds, while the Athens foursome of senior Zach Trasco, Gambrell, Hudson, and freshman Shayne Reid is the third seed at 44.46 seconds.

1,600-meter relay (3:29.6)
Central Columbia is the top seed at 3:23.78, while the Athens quartet of Hudson, Trasco, Reid, and Murrelle is the 10th seed a 3:36.7.

3,200-meter relay (8:15.55)
Lewisburg is the top seed at 8:07.74, and the Athens foursome of sophomores John Ayres and Connor Dahl, and freshman Brendan Jones, and Kyle Anthony is the 17th seed at 9:23.8.

High Jump (6-feet, 3-inches)
Towanda senior Isaac Pelka is the top seed at 6-feet, 2-inches, and Trasco is the eighth seed at 5-feet, 10-inches.

Pole Vault (13-feet, 6-inches)
Milton junior Brant Long is the top seed at 14-feet, and Sayre sophomore Bobby Benjamin is the 18th seed at 10-feet.

Long Jump (21-feet, 6-inches)
Southern Columbia junior Julian Fleming is the top seed at 23-feet, 10 3/4-inches, while Gambrell is the second seed at 22-feet, 3 1/2-inches, and Murrelle is the 19th seed at 19-feet, 5-inches.

Triple Jump (44-feet)
Montoursville senior Dominic Caputo is the top seed at 43-feet, 10 1/2-inches, and Gambrell is the second seed at 42-feet, 10 1/2-inches.

Shot Put (49-feet, 6-inches)
Lewisburg junior Josh Gose is the top seed at 53-feet, 10-inches, and Sayre sophomore Zach Belles is the 16th seed at 41-feet, 11 1/2-inches.

Discus (148-feet)
Bloomsburg junior William McGinley is the top seed at 147-feet, 3-inches, while Athens senior Noah Wright is 12th at 124-feet, 6-inches, Athens sophomore Asher Ellis is 16th seed at 121-feet, 1-inch, Belles is the 22nd seed at 116-feet, 7-inches, and Sayre senior Joe Stermer is the 24th seed at 116-feet, 1-inch.

Javelin (176-feet)

Central Columbia's Cole Heintzelman is the top seed at 176-feet, 7-inches, while Ellis is the 18th seed at 135-feet, 6-inches, and Athens junior Carson Stanfield is the 22nd seed at 130-feet, 3-inches.
