VALLEY SPORTS REPORT: IT'S TIME FOR THE YEAR-END AWARDS (2020-06-29)

THE VALLEY — The 2019-20 high school sports year was one like no other, with the Covid-19 pandemic resulting in the cancellation of the spring sports season.

There were, however, many great performances turned in by Valley athletes in the fall and winter seasons, so this weekend Valley Sports Report will be honoring the top athletes, newcomers, and coaches in the abbreviated 2019-20 school year.

The schedule is as follows:

THE VALLEY — "All-Valley" week begins Monday and stretches through Sunday, honoring the top athletes, newcomers, and coaches, as well as "Crystal Ball" prognostications for the 2020-21 winter seasons.

THE VALLEY — Tioga senior Brady Worthing capped a tremendous high school career with his third appearance in a championship match at the New York State Division 2 wrestling championships, and a first-team all-state selection on the gridiron, helping the Tigers to tremendous team success in both sports.
