SCHOLASTIC TRACK & FIELD: WAVERLY'S CHANDLER WINS TWO MEDALS, INCLUDING POLE VAULT GOLD, AT NATIONALS (2019-07-03)

DURHAM, N.C. - Waverly senior Isaac Chandler claimed a national title (and a fifth-place medal) here over the weekend at the USA Track & Field National Youth Championships.

Chandler won the gold medal in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 14-feet, 6-inches.

He finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.51 seconds. Steven Harris Jr. of Dashers Track won the gold in 14.39 seconds, and Allen Taylor of Nittany Track & Field won the silver in 14.4 seconds.
