WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: ATHENS GRAD HUTCHISON'S FIRST COLLEGIATE GOAL A GAME-WINNER FOR ST. BONAVENTURE (2019-09-07)

OLEAN, N.Y. - Athens grad Rachel Hutchison, a freshman on the St. Bonaventure women's soccer team, scored her first collegiate goal Friday night, lifting the Bonnies to a 1-0 win over Valparaiso here at the Marra Athletics Complex.

Hutchison, who played 65 minutes in the game, knocked a loose ball into the corner of the net in the 6th minute for what would be the game's only goal.

Hutchison has started all five games for the Bonnies, who are 3-2, and has taken three shots-on-goal.

St. Bonaventure returns to action Sunday at Cornell. Game time is 1 p.m.
