THE VALLEY — Wednesday’s marquee match-up is on the volleyball hardwoods in Candor as the Lady Indians host Tioga in a key early-season IAC South Small School Division battle.
In other action, Waverly volleyball makes a short trip to S-VE, while the Waverly and Athens boys soccer teams, and the Tioga girls soccer teams host league rivals.
Also of note, the Sayre boys soccer game at Wellsboro has been postponed.
VOLLEYBALL
Tioga (4-0) at Candor (3-0), 5 p.m. JV start: The Lady Tigers are coming off a quick sweep of Watkins Glen, while the Lady Indians posted an impressive sweep of Thomas A. Edison.
Waverly (2-0) at S-VE (1-3), 5 p.m JV start: The Wolverines are coming off a sweep of O-M Monday, while the Panthers topped Newfield.
