COLLEGE FOOTBALL: VALLEY GRADS RENEW RIVALRY IN UTICA COLLEGE'S WIN OVER BUFFALO STATE (2019-09-15)

UTICA — A pair of Valley grads renewed their rivalry on the college gridiron Saturday afternoon with Waverly grad Peyton Miller’s Utica College topping Tioga grad Adam Zwierlein’s Buffalo State, 26-15, here at Gaetano Stadium.

Miller had four receptions for 89 yards, including a long of 34 yards, in the Pioneers’ win.

Zwierlein started at inside linebacker, but was not involved in any tackles.

On the season, Miller has seven receptions for 172 yards (24.6 yards per catch) and one TD.

Zwierlein has four tackles, including one solo stop, and a pass break-up.

Utica College (2-0) returns to action Saturday at RPI, while Buffalo State (0-2) hosts Brockport.
