WAVERLY "” Twenty-four hours its first loss of the season, Waverly bounced back with a sweep of Newfield here Tuesday night in IAC volleyball action.

The Lady Wolverines, now 4-1, won by scores of 25-10, 25-14, and 25-13.

Junior Sidney Tomasso led Waverly with 20 services points, including nine aces, and one block, while senior Paige Lewis had 12 points, including nine aces, five digs, and three kills, and Emilee Little added 12 points (six aces) and three kills.

Senior Chloe Croft had 11 setter assists and four digs for the Lady Wolverines, and seniors Morgan Adams and Adrianah Clinton registered three kills apiece.

Adrianna Royce led Newfield with five aces, three assists, and six digs.

Waverly returns to action Thursday at Tioga.

JV: Waverly won the junior varsity match, 2-1, winning sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-17, sandwiched around Newfield's 25-20 win in the second set.

Kennedy Herriman led Waverly with 14 points, including seven aces, while Aubrey Ennis had 10 points, including six aces, and three kills, Paighten Streeter added nine points (five aces), and Taylor Hall chipped in with nine points.
