MANSFIELD "” North Penn-Mansfield scored in the final minute of the first half to take the lead, then added a pair of insurance goals in the second half in a 4-1 win over Sayre here Thursday afternoon in NTL girls soccer action.

Sayre sophomore Roz Haney scored in the 16th minute, off a feed from senior Abby Moliski, to give Sayre a 1-0 lead. The goal was Haney's 16th of the season.

Kiersten Mitstifer tied the game with 7:18 remaining in the first half to tie the game, and Sophia Domenech put the Lady Tigers ahead, 2-1, 49 before the intermission.

Mitstifer and Lydia Paulhamus scored goals five minutes apart midway through the second half to provide the final margin.

NP-M outshot Sayre 17-4, and had an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

Freshman Adrianna Barnhart recorded 13 saves for the Lady Redskins.

Sayre, now 1-6, returns to action Tuesday at Towanda.
