BLOOMSBURG — Athens grad Shane Colegrove, a junior on the Lock Haven men’s soccer team, set up the game-winning goal Saturday afternoon in the Bald Eagle’s. 2-1, double-overtime win over arch-rival Bloomsburg.
Lock Haven led 1-0 until Bloomsburg tied the game with 10 minutes remaining in regulation.
Six minutes into the second overtime period, Colegrove made a run up the left wings and sent a perfectly-placed ball to Andrea DiSomma, who finished it for his second goal of the game.
Colegrove has started in seven games this season. Last year, Colegrove played in all 18 games, starting in 14, and recorded four goals, including one game-winner, and two assists.
For his career, Colegrove has seven goals, including three game-winners, and four assists.
Lock Haven, now 3-5, returns to action Tuesday when it hosts New York Tech.
