CANTON, Mass. "” Waverly grad Alex Tomasso has broken 90 in each round of her last two tournaments, including a career-best round of 79, for Merrimack College.

Last weekend, Tomasso carded a three-round total of 255 at the Boston College Invitational to finish 67th.

Tomasso shot rounds of 86, 85, and 84 on the par-72, 6,137-yard Blue Hill Country Club course.

She was third on the Merrimack team.

At the Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 14-15, Tomasso tied for 69th with a two-day total of 167.

She shot rounds of 88 and 79 on the par-72, 5,826-yard Hanover Country Club course in Hanover, N.H.

She was second on the Merrimack team.
