ODESSA — Waverly put down a pesky O-M team in the first two sets, then rolled in the third for a sweep here Thursday night in IAC volleyball action.

The Lady Wolverines, now 8-3, won by scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-11.

Senior Chloe Croft led Waverly with 19 service points, including seven aces, and 19 setter assists, while senior Morgan Adams had eight points and eight kills, and senior Adrianah Clinton had seven points, five kills, and three digs.

Junior Sidney Tomasso had seven points and five kills in the win, while junior Maddy Goodwin and sophomore Aryan Peters each recorded three digs.

Waverly returns to action Monday when it hosts S-VE.

JV: After dropping the first set, Waverly rallied for a 2-1 win in the junior varsity match. O-M won 25-21 in the first set, but the junior Lady Wolverines, now 6-4, bounced back with wins of 25-15 and 25-14.

Kennedy Herriman led Waverly with 13 points, including six aces, and six digs, while Sydney Nierstedt had 10 points points and one block, and Taylor Hall added 10 points.

Aubrey Ennis had nine points, including five aces, eight digs and four kills in the win, hill Michaela Lauper led the team with seven assists, and Paighten Streeter had a team-high six kills.
