“They were able to challenge us offensively and our back four of Avery (Priester), Caydence (Macik), Haley (Chambers) and Bailey (Dakos) were stellar dealing with their attack,” he noted.
“Madisyn Jocelyn was absolutely amazing making 15 saves some of the brilliant variety in gaining her ninth clean sheet of the season,” added Pitts.
After 97 1/2 minutes of scoreless action, junior Emma Roe received a pass from senior Abby Sindoni, and played it to Walker, who drove a perfectly-place shot under the crossbar for the game-winning goal.
“Offensively we got off some great chances and played better soccer as the game progressed,” said Pitts. “We defiantly pressed them in the two OTs, and the girls were determined in the second OT to finish with a goal.”
