Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY "” Waverly breezed to its third consecutive sweep - this time against S-VE - here Monday evening in IAC South volleyball action.
The Lady Wolverines, now 8-3, won by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-10.
Senior Chloe Croft led Waverly with 17 service points, including nine aces, 22 setter assists, and four digs, while junior Maddy Goodwin added 11 points, senior Paige Lewis had seven points, including six aces, six kills, and five digs, and senior Adrianna Clinton registered seven kills.
Sam Deppe led S-VE with four aces, four assists, and two digs, while Lizzie Graham had five digs, two kills, and two acs, Ashleigh Morais added three aces, and two digs, and Noah Lavore chipped in with five digs.
Waverly returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Newark Valley.
JV: Waverly swept the junior varsity match.
Kennedy Herriman led Waverly with 19 points, including eight aces, and four digs, while Taylor Hall had 10 points, including six aces, and four digs, and Aubrey Ennis registered five kills.
