NTL CROSS COUNTRY: SAYRE'S HUGHEY PLACES FIRST IN DOUBLE-DUAL WITH NP-M, SULLIVAN COUNTY (2019-10-08)

MANSFIELD "”Senior Kayla Hughey raced to a first-place finish, and junior Lucy Coller finished fourth, but the short-handed Sayre girls and boys both dropped a pair of decisions to North Penn-Mansfield and Sullivan County here Tuesday afternoon in NTL cross country action.

GIRLS
Hughey clocked in a 21:20 for the win, while Coller finished in 23:08. Freshman Corey Ault was 11th in 26:46.

NP-M had five of the top eight finishers to record a 15-50 win over Sayre, and 18-40 win over Sullivan County.

BOYS
North Penn-Mansfield had the top five finishers to post 15-50 win over Sayre and a 15-45 win over Sullivan County.

Senior Logan Goudreau (21:43) and Nathan Romano (22:07) finished eighth and ninth for the Redskins, and Jake Henry was 11th in 22:32.

Sayre returns to action Saturday at the NTL Coaches Invite.
