IAC VOLLEYBALL: TIOGA ROLLS TO QUICK SWEEP OF O-M (2019-11-12)

ODESSA "” Tioga rolled to a quick sweep of Odessa-Montour here Friday night in IAC South Small School volleyball action.

The Lady Tigers improve to 9-4 on the season. (There were no game scores reported for the varsity match.)

Senior Giovanna Rossi led Tioga with 19 service points, including five aces, three kills, one block, and two digs, while senior Madison Macumber had nine points (four aces), two kills, and two setter assists, and senior Chloe Bellis had six points (two aces), and 12 assists.

Sophomore Emme Hall added six points, seven kills, and one block for Tioga, while senior Allyson Chapman had five points and one block, sophomore Molly Bombard added four points, sophomore Kaitlyn Perry added three assists, sophomore Julia Bellis had two kills and two digs, and senior Bri Rossi and junior Mary Taylor each chipped in with two kills.

Sam Sipes led O-M with three points (two aces) and three assists, while Haley landon had three points (two aces),  JoLynn Minnier added two points, and Rhys Stermer registered four kills and three blocks.

Tioga returns to action Wednesday at Waverly.

JV: Tioga swept the junior varsity match by scores of 25-7 and 25-15.

Mercedes Allen led Tioga with 14 points, while Nina Spano had nine points, Austyn Vance registered eight kills, and Lily Mesler dished out eight assists.
