COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: ATHENS GRAD MARTIN CONTRIBUTOR IN ELMIRA COLLEGE FOUR-MATCH WIN STREAK (2019-10-13)

ELMIRA "” Athens grad Amelia Martin, a freshman on the Elmira College women's volleyball team, has been a big part of the Lady Eagles' four-match win streak.

Martin had 14 digs and four service points, including two aces, and one kill in a win over Sage College on Friday. She had 10 digs, two points - both aces, in a win over Gallaudet on Oct. 5.

She matched a season-high with 11 points, including two aces, eight digs, and had nine kills in a loss to Houghton College on Sept. 27

On the season, Martin has played in all 20 matches, starting in six of them, and has appeared in 68 of the 72 sets. She leads the team with 27 service aces, is second on the team with 42 setter assists, fourth on team with 135 digs, and fifth on the team with 60 kills. She also has six blocks.

Elmira College, 10-12 on the season, returns to action Wednesday when it hosts SUNY Delhi.
