THE VALLEY "” Sayre volleyball is the lone home event on Tuesday's slate of action, while the Waverly boys close the 2019 campaign on the soccer pitch against SVEC at Candor High School.

BOYS SOCCER
Sayre (3-11-1) at Benton (9-7-1), 4 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 3-2 loss to Williamson Thursday, while the Tigers blanked NEB, 6-0.

Waverly (2-9-1) vs. SVEC, 4:30 p.m. @ Candor H.S.: The Wolverines are coming off a 2-1 win over Notre Dame Thursday, and close the 2019 season this afternoon against the Eagles, who are coming off a IAC South Small School Division-clinching 4-2 win over Newark Valley.

VOLLEYBALL
Towanda (8-6) at Sayre (3-11), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 3-1 home loss to Wyalusing Thursday, while the Lady Black Knights are coming off a sweep of Cowanesque Valley last Tuesday.

Athens (9-4) at Wellsboro (14-2), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 3-0 loss to NTL Large School-leading North Penn-Liberty, while the Lady Green Hornets dropped a 3-2 decision at Central Mountain.

GIRLS SWIMMING
Waverly (6-3) at Maine-Endwell (7-1), 5 p.m.: The Lady Wolverines are coming off a 91-55 win over Notre Dame Thursday, while the Lady Spartans edged Chenango Forks, 75-65, Tuesday.
