WAVERLY REC. AWARDS JAGGER ROBERTS WRIGHT SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD TO JEREMY CLEVELAND (2019-11-06)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY "" The Waverly Recreation Department recently awarded the Jagger Roberts Wright Sportsmanship Award to Jeremy Cleveland.
The award goes to a Waverly Youth football player who best describes the meaning of sportsmanship. The Waverly Recreation Youth Football coaches selected a player that encouraged everyone with a clap or high-five, a cheer, or by shaking hands and one who has been respectful to everyone, including teammates, opposition, coaches, officials and parents during the season.
Jagger lost his life in a ATV accident in the spring and was involved in the recreation sports programs. He was the son of Brittany Roberts and Brandon Wright.
