SECTION IV FOOTBALL: TIOGA WILL HOST SECTION III CHAMP FRANKFORT-SCHUYLER FRIDAY AT VESTAL (2019-11-10)

TIOGA CENTER - Section IV champion Tioga will host Section III winner Frankfort-Schuyler  Friday at 5 p.m. at Vestal High School in the quarterfinals of the New York State, Class D quarterfinals.

The Tigers, now 10-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state, beat Walton, 44-36, Friday night to win its eighth Section IV, Class D title in nine years, while the Maroon Knights, now 8-2, beat Waterville, 22-6, in the Section III championship game at the Carrier Dome to avenge a 20-0 loss three weeks ago.
