THE VALLEY "” The Waverly boys swim team opens defense of its IAC title at home this afternoon, while the Waverly and Tioga bowlers both host matches at the Valley Bowling Center.

BOYS SWIMMING
Dryden at Waverly, 4:30 p.m.:
Defending IAC champion Waverly returns its roster nearly en tact, led by senior Mike Atanasoff, junior Collin Keefer, sophomore Kaden Wheeler, and senior diver Gage Streeter.

Th Wolverines beat Dryden 114-52 at Dryden in their first meeting last year, and won at home 133-44 in their second meeting.

BOYS BOWLING
Dryden (0-4) at Waverly (4-0), 3:30 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a sweep of Notre Dame Tuesday, while the Purple Lions, in their inaugural season, was swept by Newark Valley.

O-M (0-4) at Tioga (3-1), 3:30 p.m. @ VBC: The Tigers topped Candor, 3-1, Tuesday, while the Indians were swept by Groton.

GIRLS BOWLING
Dryden (0-4) at Waverly (4-0), 3:30 p.m.:
The Lady Wolverines posted a sweep of Notre Dame Tuesday in its season-opener, while the Lady Purple Lions, which has just one bowler in its first season, was swept by Newark Valley.

O-M (0-4) at Tioga (0-4), 3:30 p.m. @ VBC: The Lady Tigers were swept by Candor Tuesday, while the Lady Indians were swept by Groton, both in their season-openers.
