IAC BOYS BOWLING: POND PACES BALANCED LINE-UP IN TIOGA'S SWEEP OF O-M (2019-12-05)

WAVERLY "” Junior Kolton Pond led a balanced Tioga line-up in a sweep of O-M here Thursday afternoon in IAC Small School bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Tigers, now 7-1, won the first game by just eight pins, 806-798, then earned wins of 849-796, and 899-776 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,554 to 2,370.

Pond rolled matching 171 games, then finished his set off with a 235 for a 577 series, while freshman Gage Cain shot a 555,  sophomore Rocco Fariello had a 531, and sophomore Dylan Slater added a 524.

Freshman Frank Chapman had a 367 for the Tigers, and sophomore Reed Cook tacked on a 336.

Austin Hoyt led O-M with a 515 series.

Tioga returns to action Saturday in the IAC Kick-Off Tournament at the Valley Bowling Center.
