IAC CHEERLEADING: WAVERLY COMPETES IN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS (9 PHOTOS) (2020-02-09)

NEWARK VALLEY - Waverly competed in the IAC Cheerleading Championships here Saturday.

The Wolverines placed second behind Newark Valley in the Large Squad division. The host Cardinals captured Grand Champion honors in addition to the Large Squad title. NV beat out nine other schools to earn Grand Champion.

Whitney Point won the Small Squad category, beating out runner-up Dryden and third-place Edison, as well as S-VE, Marathon and Odessa-Montour.

Watkins Glen won the Co-Ed Squad title over Dryden.
