VESTAL "” All five of Waverly's bowlers finished in the top 25 to help the Lady Wolverines to a fourth-place finish her Friday at the Section IV, Class C Championships at Midway Lanes.

Greene-Oxford won the team title with a three-game set of 2,631, edging out IAC champ Union Springs / Port Byron, which was second with 2,609. Windsor was third with a 2,535 series, while Waverly tallied a 2,525, and Susquehanna Valley was

Freshman Victoria Houseknecht led the Lady Wolverines with a 564 series to finish sixth, while 8th-grader Rachel Houseknecht rolled a 530 to finish 12th, and senior Morgan Lee had a 486 to finish 22nd.

Freshman Shantilly Decker rolled a 473 to finish 24th for Waverly, and senior Sadie VanAllen tacked on a 472 to tie for 25th.

VanAllen was eighth in the high game rankings with a 211, and Victoria Houseknecht was 11th with a 200.

Susquehanna Valley's Lyndsie Jicha rolled a 6363 series to win the individual gold, while Sidney's Maegan Mazzarella won the silver medal with a 626, and Erin Howard won the bronze medal with a 602.
