Connor Hanafin reached base five times in his three starts.
Hanafin, who hit .347 with four homers, eight doubles, 43 runs scored and 32 RBI in 124 ABs as a freshman, was 0-for-3 with a run scored in a season-opening, 6-3, win Saturday afternoon. In the nightcap, Hanafin singled and scored one run in two at-bats in a 4-1 win.
Hanafin started the first game of Sunday's twinbill, which FCC won 16-7, and doubled in three at-bats. He scored two runs, and had one RBI.
On the season, Hanafin is 2-for-8 (.250 average), with one double, four runs, and one RBI. He walked twice and was hit by a pitch, and has an on-base percentage of .455.
Hanafin, who started in left field in all three games, was flawless in five chances, and had one outfield assist.
Frederick College returns to action Thursday in a doubleheader at Piedmont College, then plays Delta College in a three-game set over the weekend at Chain of Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Fla.
