THE VALLEY "” Second-seed Athens will square off with third-seed Shamokin tonight at 6 p.m. at Williamsport High School in the semifinals of the District 4, Class AAAA girls basketball playoffs.

The Lady Wildcats, now 21-4, are coming off a 52-45 win at home over Montoursville Wednesday in the quarterfinals, while Shamokin (15-8) topped Milton, 44-31, on Thursday.

The winner will face the winner of the game between top-seed Danville (22-3) and fourth-seed Mifflinburg (11-12). The losers will square off in the consolation game for a berth in the Class AAAA playoffs.
