FREDERICK, Md. — Sayre grad Connor Hanafin, a sophomore on the Frederick Community College baseball team, rapped out three hits and had two RBI in his last two games prior to an NJCAA-imposed suspension in play until April due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus.
On Sunday, Hanafin rapped out a pair of singles and drove in both of FCC’s runs in a 7-2 loss to Caldwell CC & Technical Institute.
On Wednesday, in the Cougars' final game until April 3 at the earliest, Hanafin singled in four at-bats in an 11-9 win over Allegany College of Maryland.
On the season, Hanafin is hitting .226 (7 hits in 31 ABs) with three doubles, seven runs scored, and six RBI. He has walked five times and stuck out nine times.
