WAVERLY - The Tomasso's Restaurant & Golf Course / Williams Toyota Blue Jays poured 12 runs across the plate in the top of the third inning en route to a 17-6 win over the New Image / Tom's Hardware Pirates here Monday evening in Waverly Little League Majors Division baseball action.

The Blue Jays were actually outhit 8-6, but took advantage of 15 base on balls issued by Pirate pitching.

Charan Venkataswamy's RBI single scored Cooper Robinson to open the scoring in the top of the third inning, giving the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead.

Brandon Bennett added a two-run line-drive single later in the inning to make it 6-0, and Rylan Yeakel had a two-RBI single to cap the scoring at 13-0.

Robinson tripled and singled, scored four runs, and drove in two runs to lead the Blue Jays at the plate, while Venkataswamy singled, scored two runs, and knocked in two runs, and Yeakel singled, scored two runs, and had three RBI.

Lucas Pradun singled and scored two runs in the win, while Bennett singled, scored one run, and drove in two runs, Karson Sipley scored two runs, and had three RBI, Derek Johnson scored two runs, and Caden Vanderhoof, Jaiden Heinzelman, and Alex McQuay each crossed the plate once.

Robinson earned the win for the Jays with two scoreless innings. He allowed one hit, while striking out five and walking one.

Andrew Larrabee singled twice and had three RBI, and Brendan Cooke tripled and singled, and scored one run to lead the Pirates at the plate, while Bryce Laforest singled, scored one run, and drove in two runs, and Connor Davidson tripled, scored two runs, and knocked in one run.

Peyton Robinson singled and scored one run, and Shea Davidson added a double for the Pirates, and Rhylee Stotler scored a run.

The Blue Jays improve to 2-4 on the season, while the Pirates fall to 2-4.
