NTL CROSS COUNTRY: SHORT-HANDED SAYRE TEAMS DROP DECISIONS TO CANTON, CV (7 PHOTOS) (2020-10-13)

CANTON "" Sayre senior Carrie Claypool won again, but the short-handed Lady Redskins dropped decisions to Canton and Cowanesque Valley here Tuesday afternoon in NTL cross country action.

The Sayre boys, also short-handed, suffered setbacks against Canton and Cowanesque Valley.

GIRLS
Claypool clocked in at 22:32, a full minute faster than runner-up Sara Saar of Canton, but the Lady Redskins lost 21-34 to both the Lady Warriors and CV

Corey Ault finished 10th in 29:15 for Sayre, and Deborah Shikanga was 13th in 32:48.

BOYS
Nathan Romano finished seventh in 21:58 for the Redskins, and Riley Parrish was 12th in 28:18.

Sayre dropped 17-38 decisions to both Canton, and CV.

Sayre returns to action Saturday at the NTL Coaches Invite at NEB.
