THE VALLEY "” Four events - two girls soccer and two volleyball matches - comprise Tuesday's schedule, and for the second straight day all the action is on the road.

The marquee match-up of the day is a re-match of the Troy girls' 2-1 win over Athens Saturday at Alumni Stadium.

GIRLS SOCCER
Athens (8-2-1) at Troy (5-1), 4 p.m.:  The Lady Trojans are coming off a 2-1 win at Athens Saturday, the Lady Wildcats' first league loss at home in nine years.

Wellsboro (8-1-1) and Troy sit atop the NTL standings, with Athens (8-2-1) and Wyalusing (9-2) one game back.

Sayre (1-8) at Williamson (2-9-2), 4 p.m.: The Lady Redskins have been off since a 12-0 loss at Wyalusing Wednesday, while the Lady Warriors lost 4-0 at Wyalusing Saturday.

Sayre, which has lost seven in a row, lost a 3-2 decision to Williamson at home on Sept. 19.

VOLLEYBALL
Sayre (0-11) at Williamson (3-7), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 3-0 loss at NEB Saturday, while the Lady Warriors swept Wyalusing Monday night.

Last week, Williamson earned its first win of the season with a 3-1 victory at Sayre.

Athens (7-6) at Troy (1-3), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off their second five-set loss of the season to NEB Monday, while the Lady Trojans swept Towanda Thursday.
