WAVERLY — Waverly Rec. hosted Week 6 its Youth Flag Football League Sunday at Memorial Stadium. The results are as follows:Kindergarten / First Grade
BLACK KNIGHTS 42, BLUE DEVILS 20:
Finnley Cole had three long TD runs to lead the Knights to a season-ending win over the Blue Devils.
Lucas Wolcott added TD runs of 45 and 40 yards, and Blake Wolcott scored from 32 yards out for the Knights. Cole ,Lucas and Blake added the extra points.
The Blue Devils were led by Asher Reznicek, who had touchdown runs of 45 and 25 yards. Levi Grover scored from 10 yards out, and added the extra point.Second & Third Grades
RED RAIDERS 26, GOLD EAGLES 24, OT:
Triton Floyd scored on a 10-yard TD run in overtime, and Brayden Bowman completed a 10 yard extra point pass to Ethan Glielmi to lift the Red Raiders to a season-ending 26-24 win over the Gold Eagles.
Floyd also scored on TD runs of 45 and 35 yards, and Ethan Glielmi tacked on a 45-yard TD run.
The Eagles got TD runs of 30 yards from Cooper Skovira, and 25 yards from Liam Barton. Skovira also connected with Eli Keeney on a 45-yard TD pass for the other score in regulation.
Keeney scored from 10 yards out in overtime to give the Eagles a 24-18 lead.Fourth, Fifth, & Sixth Grades
BLACK KNIGHTS 30 RED RAIDERS 19 :
The Black Knights logged their first win of the season, denying the Red Raiders a share of the regular-season title.
The Black Knight built an 18-0 halftime lead behind TD runs from Brody Lambert ( 3 yards ), and Chase Sinsabaugh (14 yards ) and a 9-yard scoring pass from Lambert to Austin Burns.
Lambert added two touchdown runs of 5 yards to close out the scoring for the Knights.
Bryce Laforest scored all three touchdowns for the Raiders on runs of 45,15, and 45 yards. Laforest also added the extra point. Laforest and Axel Murray had interceptions for the Raiders.
GOLD EAGLES 20 BLUE DEVILS 19:
The Golden Eagles won the regular-season title with a 20-19 win over the Blue Devils.
Gage Marmor scored on TD runs of 15 and 10 yards, and Avery Bowman scored from 45 yards out for the Eagles. Ben Shaw completed a 10-yard pass to Chase Wheeler for the game-winning extra point.
Tyler Wolverton had TD runs of 40 and 37 yards to lead the Devils. Wolverton also had a “pick-6” for the other TD. Nick Robbbins scored the extra point on a 5-yard pass from Griffin Walter.
The Fourth, Fifth, & Sixth graders will be playing an all-star game on Sunday at noon. The match-up will Gold / Black vs Red / Blue.FINAL STANDINGSFourth, Fifth, & Sixth Grades
