The other home event Thursday has Athens hosting Towanda on the volleyball hardwoods.

BOYS SOCCER
Athens (10-2) at Sayre (5-7), 5:30 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 5-1 home win over Troy on Thursday, while the Redskins won 5-2 at Troy Monday.

In the opening week of the season, Athens scored a pair of late goals in a 2-0 win over Sayre.

GIRLS SOCCER
Sayre (1-9) at Towanda (7-7), 4 p.m.: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 5-0 loss at Williamson Wednesday, while the Lady Black Knights won a 2-1 double-OT thriller at Wyalusing.

VOLLEYBALL
Towanda (3-6) at Athens (8-6), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off a sweep at Troy Tuesday night, while the Lady Black Knights were swept at home by Wellsboro.

Sayre (0-12) at Wyalusing (3-9), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Redskins were swept at Troy Wednesday, while the Lady Rams were swept at home by Canton Tuesday.

Earlier this season, Wyalusing pulled out a five-set win at Sayre.
