NTL VOLLEYBALL: SAYRE FALLS IN THREE TO TOWANDA (2020-10-26)

SAYRE "” Towanda cruised into town and handed Sayre a 3-0 loss in its final home match of the season here Monday night in NTL volleyball action.

The Lady Black Knights won by scores of 25-14, 25-16, and 25-9.

Gabbi Randall registered five kills and four blocks to lead Sayre, while Emma Smith had eight setter assists, Elizabeth Boyle had six service aces, Gabrielle Shaw added two kills, and Rachel Vandermark chipped in with two aces.

DaLanie Pepper led Towanda with 23 points, 17 assists, eight digs and three kills, while Blaze Wood had 18 points and seven digs,  Paige Manchester recorded 13 kills, four blocks, and five digs, Brea Overpeck added eight points and six digs, and Gracie Schoonover chipped in with seven kills and one block.

Towanda improves to 5-9, while Sayre falls to 0-14.

The Lady Redskins finish up the 2020 campaign Thursday at Cowanesque Valley.
