IAC GIRLS BOWLING: GILLETTE LEADS TIOGA IN SWEEP OF WATKINS GLEN (2021-01-29)

WAVERLY - Freshman Chloe Gillette led Tioga to a sweep of short-handed Watkins Glen here Thursday afternoon in a virtual IAC South girls bowling match-up.

Bowling at the Valley Bowling Center, the Lady Tigers rolled a team score of 1,841, while the Lady Senecas, competing with four bowlers, rolled a 1,320 at Harborside Lanes in Watkins Glen.

Gillette rolled a 416, while BobbiJo Tarbox shot a 386, and Jamie Card had a 376.

Destini Sweet rolled a 334 for the Lady Tigers, while Cassie Birney added a 320, and Alex Creller tacked on a 278.

Sara Burrowes rolled a 337 in reserve for Tioga.

Alyiah Clink Bently led Watkins Glen with a 409 series.

Tioga, now 13-7, takes on Candor Tuesday.
